PWRIN range is from 5.0V to 10V, 5.0V is recommended, TXD and RXD are TTL level which can be directly connected with MCU.

 

Testing the Sim808 Module

• Install GSM, GPS and Bluetooth antenna
• Install SIM card
• Feed power supply to PWRIN pin, LED indicator D102 will come ON
• Note: PWRIN range is from 5.0V to 10V. 5.0V is recommended
• If LED D100 Blink quickly, which shows un-registration network
• If LED D100 Blink slowly shows registration successful
• Default Baud Rate : 9600
